The man in the photo is Dr Mark R McMurtry.  He’s the inventor of record of iAVs – the first successful closed-loop production of vegetables and fruits using the metabolic wastes of fish…and the precursor to everything we now know as Aquaponics.

Since its conception in the mid-1980s, Mark has made iAVs available to anyone who wanted it…at no cost.  The information that we present on this site is still free.  In the past four years, we’ve helped hundreds of people and answered thousands of questions…all at no cost.
